Wycombe High School

High Wycombe | Buckinghamshire

As part of the ongoing programme of extending and improving its accommodation, Wycombe High School has worked with Brocklehurst Architects on a number of schemes including two flagship projects, a new learning centre, which includes the school library, and a music centre which combines teaching spaces, performance areas and practice rooms. The two buildings complement each other through their design, but each building meets the very specific needs of pupils and staff.

The Grange School

Aylesbury | Buckinghamshire

Extensive refurbishment and extension works at the Grange School in Aylesbury. The work revitalises and updates the facilities of the school, spread over seven phases. These include a new music block, entrance and reception area and gymnasium as well as refurbished maths and humanities classrooms and science laboratories.

Davenies School

Beaconsfield | Buckinghamshire

The new building provides a dining hall and kitchen, library, teaching classrooms, changing facilities and caretaker’s flat, on a location overlooking the school’s cricket pitch. The form and design of the building echo the agricultural origins of the site and respect the original listed farmhouse which now forms the main part of the school.

St Michael's Nursery

High Wycombe | Buckinghamshire

A new nursery unit providing much-needed facilities for young children in the area. The striking design gives the building prominence within the school with a stimulating environment for the children, incorporating up-to-date facilities and sustainable design. The building was short listed for an RIBA award in 2014.
