Amersham | Buckinghamshire
A new hall for Amersham Band was awarded planning consent in 2017, after we were able to demonstrate very special circumstances for the development in the Green Belt. The building sits on an open site with a new access and is designed to respond to the nearby Conservation Area and its semi-rural location through use of black timber cladding and its barn-like form. Work was completed on the site in September 2020.
Wheatley | Oxfordshire
A multi-function meeting room for the United Reformed Church in Wheatley, with emphasis on accessibility for the whole community. The contemporary design is sympathetic to the surroundings, with a shallow pitch stainless steel roof, clerestory and full height windows, and a large roof light to create a bright, vibrant communal space.
