Green Pastures occupies a prominent position in the Chilterns overlooking the Vale of Aylesbury. The new house which is in both the Green Belt and Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty replaced a small cottage. Since the house was completed Brocklehurst Architects has designed other ancillary buildings including a garage, gym and annexe as well as a terraced kitchen garden and traditional peach house. The new additions to this large family house make the best use of a steeply sloping site and maximise its potential within stringent planning constraints.
